Ybarra Art club students created artworks and sugar skulls to decorate our school's altar for the WISD Annual Dia de los Muertos Art Exhibit at the Weslaco Museum. The altars will be showcased for the month of October. Stop by the museum to see our students' beautiful work!

Here are our First Six Weeks Artists! These students went above and beyond in their Art Classes and received the Artist Award for the First Six Weeks.
Students can wear a college shirt with jeans on Thursdays for a $0.25 donation. All proceeds will go toward the Ybarra Scholarship Fund which awards students from Weslaco High and Weslaco East with scholarships.
Our Parent's Luncheon was a huge success! Thank you to all of the parents that joined us and spent quality time, learning about the seven habits, with their children.
Each Six Weeks, our 1st - 5th grade students have word count goals that they work hard to meet. The students pictured met their AR goals for the First Six Weeks.

Ybarra is going Pink for Cancer Awareness! Students are encouraged to wear Pink during the month of October with their uniform bottoms to spread awareness.
Ybarra Elementary is LIT for Literacy! We encourage you to read with your child for a minimum of 30 minutes each day.
