Mrs. Rodriguez is one of our 5th Grade teachers here at Ybarra Elementary and she always goes above and beyond for her students. We appreciate all of her hard work!

Students can wear a college shirt with jeans on Thursdays for a $0.25 donation. All proceeds will go toward the Ybarra Scholarship Fund which awards students from Weslaco High and Weslaco East with scholarships.

Congratulations to our AR Readers! These students read over ONE MILLION words over the course of the school year. We are so proud of them!

Ybarra Elementary has earned it's Common Sense School Status for the 2017-2018 school year. Our staff here at Ybarra is dedicated to teaching our students to be responsible and ethical when using digital tools.

Ybarra Elementary is LIT for Literacy! We encourage you to read with your child for a minimum of 30 minutes each day.
